Booking Policy

Please note: that certain destinations may have specific travel guidelines that can vary throughout the year. We kindly ask that you adhere to all applicable laws and guidelines.

Booking policies are tailored to each reservation and will be communicated to guests either during booking or upon their arrival.

When referring to GIRICO, this includes its affiliates, employees, and officers. The term "HOSPITALITY" denotes the accommodation where you have successfully booked through Girico.

Check-in Policy

The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to check into the accommodation. Our standard check-in time is typically at noon. We strive to facilitate check-ins any time thereafter until the duration of your reservation.

All guests must present valid photo identification upon check-in. As per government regulations, a valid photo ID is mandatory for all guests aged 18 and above staying at the hotel. Accepted forms of identification include Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, and Passport. Please note that PAN cards are not accepted. Failure to provide an original copy of a valid ID will result in denial of check-in.

If you encounter any check-in issues upon arrival at the accommodation and they cannot be resolved locally, please contact Girico immediately. Girico will investigate the matter and, upon verification, will provide the following assistance:

  • Girico will endeavor to arrange accommodation within the same accommodation.
  • Alternatively, Girico will seek to offer alternative accommodation at other listed properties, subject to availability.
  • If Girico cannot arrange alternative accommodation or if you decline the offered alternatives, you may be eligible for a full refund.
  • Please note that Girico will not be liable for compensation beyond the amount paid for the booking.

Unless specifically notified otherwise, Girico cannot guarantee a refund of the booking amount or any portion thereof in the event of room unavailability due to natural disasters (such as earthquakes, landslides, etc.), terrorist activities, government regulations, or other force majeure events beyond Girico's control.

Early Check-in and Late Check-out Policy

Early Check-In: The standard check-in time at Girico hospitality is typically at 12 noon unless otherwise stated in your booking voucher. Early check-in is subject to availability. Additional charges may apply as per the following policy:

Check-in Time: Early Check-in Charges

  • Before 6 AM: 98% charges for one day, payable at the room rates of the previous day
  • Between 6 AM and 10 AM: 0% to 26% charges, payable at the room rates of the previous day, depending on accommodation policy
  • Between 10 AM and 12 Noon: Complimentary

Please note, complimentary breakfast will not be provided on the day of early check-in.

Late Check-out: The standard check-out time at Girico hospitality is 12 PM unless otherwise specified in your booking voucher. Late check-out is subject to availability and cannot be confirmed in advance with the hotel. Additional charges may apply according to the following policy:

Check-out Time: Late Check-out Charges

  • Between 12 PM and 1 PM: Complimentary
  • Between 1 PM and 5 PM: Up to 26% of the room rate for the day, depending on hotel policy
  • After 5 PM: 98% of the room rate for the day

Triple Occupancy Policy

Certain Girico hotels may permit triple occupancy by offering an additional mattress for the third person, subject to an extra fee. Typically, no extra bed will be provided in such cases. Please confirm with the specific hotel regarding availability and charges for triple occupancy.

Visitors Policy

For information regarding the Visitor Policy, please inquire directly with the Girico hospitality. To ensure guest privacy and maintain a peaceful atmosphere, Girico encourages its hotel partners to implement the following visitor guidelines:

  • Generally, visitors may meet guests in their rooms during the day, except in emergency situations.
  • Overnight stays for visitors are not permitted.
  • The hotel front desk requires all visitors to present a government-approved photo ID before accessing guest floors or rooms.

Code of Conduct

At Girico hospitality, illegal activities are strictly prohibited. Girico reserves the right to refuse service or evict guests under the following circumstances:

  • Failure or refusal to pay for accommodation
  • Disorderly behavior causing disturbance to other guests
  • Damage to or destruction of hotel property or threat of harm to other guests
  • Any behavior deemed inappropriate by the hotel management

Please ensure that your hotel room is maintained in good condition and kept clean and hygienic. Guests may be held responsible for any damage to hotel assets, except for normal wear and tear.

Smoking, Drugs, and Alcohol Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited at Girico properties. Some accommodation may also prohibit smoking in their guest rooms, so it is advisable to confirm with the hotel front desk.

Any individual found using or under the influence of illegal drugs or substances as defined by the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, will be reported to the authorities and asked to vacate the accommodation premises. Suspected or confirmed instances of drug use at the hotel will be promptly reported to the police.

Consumption of alcohol is not permitted in public areas such as the lobby, hallways, and parking areas of Girico hotels. Guests are requested to consult the hotel front desk regarding the consumption of alcoholic beverages within their room, ensuring it does not disrupt the hotel's environment or inconvenience other guests.

Contact Policies

Prior to your check-in date, you may receive calls or messages from Girico to confirm your arrival status or arrival time. In the event that Girico does not receive a response after several attempts, your booking may be temporarily suspended or cancelled. Girico will reinstate your booking upon your contact or payment through secure methods, subject to availability.

As part of our commitment to enhancing guest experiences, Girico may contact you via calls or messages to solicit your feedback. Additionally, you may receive communications from Girico regarding special offers.

If these concerns are not resolved by the accommodation during your stay, you have the option to escalate them to Girico. Please note that complaints received after check-out will not be entertained.
